With so much to see and do, it can be difficult to organise your schedule in Macau. Lucky for you, all this has been thought of by the Macau Government Tourism Office, which has created a page on its website informing you of all the events that will be taking place around the city from 8 to 24 February as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
You can search for specific dates or events. This way you can choose wisely and plan your stay in Macau conveniently, without missing out on anything important to you or your family.
To make things even easier for you, the Macao Government Tourism Office has prepared a video with some of the featured activities, including concerts by renowned artists who will be showcased in Macao during the Chinese New Year.
Temporary pedestrian zone in Taipa’s old district
Taipa village will be closed to traffic from 10 to 18 February, between 12pm and 7pm.
The temporary pedestrian zone will be in the area between the intersection of Fernão Mendes Pinto Street and Supico Street (in front of the Carmo Swimming Pool bus stop) and the intersection of Correia da Silva Street and Governor Tamagnini Barbosa Street (Taipa and Coloane History Museum), covering the stretch between Calçada do Quartel and Carlos da Maia Avenue.
Several bus routes that pass through the temporary pedestrian zone will be diverted. But don’t worry about that. Once again, there’s a video explaining everything!
