Four decades of jewelry design by the late British fashion icon Vivienne Westwood are set to be showcased at the Grand Lisboa Palace in Macau starting on April 29. The exhibition, which celebrates the visionary work of the legendary designer, marks the fourth stop for the collection following its tour through New Zealand.

Prior to its arrival in the Greater Bay Area, the exhibition titled “Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery” was previously displayed in Shanghai and Chengdu. According to SJM Resorts, the host venue, the event aims to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western aesthetics by highlighting the revolutionary designs of the late activist-designer.

The exhibition, which will remain open to the public until July 15, is curated by the official Vivienne Westwood team. It brings together rare archival jewelry and runway pieces that are being presented as a unique, comprehensive collection for the very first time, offering an intimate look into the designer’s creative legacy.

Visitors will have the chance to explore the designer’s subversive spirit and unique design language across eight dedicated rooms. The display features eclectic blends of jewelry and clothing, illustrating the brand’s mastery of craftsmanship and its enduring impact on culture, fashion, and the global movement toward sustainability.

Entry to the exhibition is free, serving as part of SJM’s ongoing strategy to enrich the local tourism experience. By hosting such high-profile cultural events, the local government aims to diversify Macau’s economy, which has long been heavily dependent on the casino and gaming industry, attracting a wider demographic of international visitors.
