MGTO to roll out campaigns targeting Hong Kong visitors

As Chinese New Year is just around the corner, the Macau Government Tourism Office is planning to launch promotional campaigns with ferry and shuttle bus operators before the festive season in order to attract more travellers from Hong Kong.

The Director of MGTO said they will work with the two ferry operators, the Macau-Hong Kong Express operator, and the operator of the “Golden Bus” to roll out potential campaigns, such as “Buy One Get One Free”

She believes the campaigns can attract to Hong Kong travellers.

MGTO is also reviewing the “Stay, Dine and See Macau” campaign that wrapped up at the end of last year.

The Director said some parts of the scheme, such as study tours for students, could be continued in the future, depending on their discussion with relevant departments.
