Sands China is inviting the public to compete in the sought-after Karaoke King Singing Competition at the upcoming 2026 Sands Shopping Carnival July 23-26 at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo, for a chance to win a share of exciting prizes. Applications are being accepted online from June 5 until July 5.
The Sands Shopping Carnival is returning to The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo in July, bringing four days of shopping, entertainment and family-friendly activities to residents and visitors.
Organised by Sands China and co-organised by the Macao Chamber of Commerce, the annual event continues to support Macau’s “Tourism+” development strategy while promoting economic diversification.
The 2026 Sands Shopping Carnival will be held at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo July 23-26, open noon to 10 p.m. daily, with an invitation-only preview session on the first day. Admission is free for all to enjoy a wonderful summer holiday.
Recognised as Macau’s largest sales event, the Sands Shopping Carnival has attracted more than 640,000 participants across its six previous editions.
This year, the event is expected to feature over 580 booths, providing a free business platform for local SMEs, community partners and Sands retailers while creating synergies between local businesses and international brands.

One of the carnival’s flagship attractions, the ICBC ePay Presents: Greater Bay Area Karaoke King Singing Competition, is now accepting applications from June 5 to July 5.
Since its launch in 2020, the competition has become one of the most popular activities of the carnival, drawing enthusiastic participation from aspiring singers across the region.
Open to participants aged 18 and above from Macau and other Greater Bay Area cities, the competition will take place on July 25 and 26.

Returning for another year, the BOC Smart Kids Presents: Little Master Chef Workshop will once again offer young participants the opportunity to explore their culinary creativity.
Led by Sands China’s food and beverage team, the workshop has welcomed more than 2,200 participants over the past six years. Free sessions will be held daily throughout the carnival, with on-site registration opening 45 minutes before each session.
The popular Busking Corner will also return, allowing aspiring performers to sign up on site and share their musical talents with visitors throughout the event.
