Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) organised a visit for team members to the National Security Education Exhibition on the first day it opened to the public, in support of the Macau SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR.
The initiative is part of GEG’s National Education Series. Participants toured the exhibition with docent guidance and audio narration, gaining a deeper understanding of the role of national security in safeguarding people’s livelihoods and maintaining social stability.
This year’s exhibition, themed “Coordinating Development and Security, Safeguarding the New Journey of the 15th Five-Year Plan”, features a prologue and five thematic sections, using display panels, multimedia elements and interactive experiences to highlight the country’s and Macau’s achievements in coordinating development and security.
GEG aimed to strengthen team members’ awareness of national security while promoting patriotism and love for Macau through this initiative. The company also continues to extend national security education to the wider community with other initiatives during the exhibition period.
These include screenings of the security-themed movie “Scare Out”, organised with local associations and youth groups. The film, produced under the guidance of the Ministry of State Security, addresses national security issues from multiple perspectives and helps raise public awareness.
GEG also promoted the exhibition through its mobile application “GEG Buzz”, encouraging more team members and their families to engage with its key messages.
GEG’s National Education Series has included a range of initiatives to help team members and young people better understand the country’s development and achievements.
Earlier this year, the company held the “Sharing Session on the NPC and CPPCC – GEG National Education Series”, which attracted more than 800 team members and students, while the highlight video reached over 20,000 team members.
The company has also supported youth education through the “GEG Macau Cup – Youth National Education Competition” for 18 consecutive years, attracting more than 160,000 student participants to date.
In addition, GEG has sponsored the “GEG Astronomy Cup” for two consecutive years, enabling youth to gain insight into the country’s progress in scientific research and innovation; and co-organised the GEG Youth Achievement Program with the Macau Management Association for 15 consecutive years, offering training opportunities to more than 3,600 participants.
