Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) received two major accolades at the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific 2026, held in Manila, Philippines.
The company was named “Casino Operator of the Year” for the third consecutive year, while its flagship property, Galaxy Macau integrated resort, received the “Integrated Resort of the Year” award for the second consecutive year.
The awards recognise GEG’s contribution to the development of Macau’s integrated tourism and leisure industry and highlight the group’s continued efforts to enhance the city’s position as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.
Guided by its “World Class, Asian Heart” service philosophy, GEG has continued to expand and diversify its tourism and leisure offerings.

GEG won the“Integrated Resort of the Year” for its flagship property, Galaxy Macau integrated resort, for the second consecutive year at the Global Gaming Awards Asia‑Pacific 2026 award ceremony.
Galaxy Macau has gained international recognition for its integrated resort experience and earned a record 12 Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Awards across 2025 and 2026, making it the integrated resort with the highest number of such distinctions globally.
The resort currently brings together nine international hotel brands, including Capella at Galaxy Macau, which officially opened this year.
It also features a wide range of leisure facilities, including the Grand Resort Deck, luxury spa experiences, the Galaxy Promenade retail destination with more than 200 international brands, and over 120 dining outlets, many of which are recommended by the Michelin Guide and the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide.
Beyond hospitality and entertainment, GEG has continued to strengthen Macau’s events landscape through facilities such as the Galaxy International Convention Center and the Galaxy Arena.

Since 2023, the group has hosted more than 1,200 large-scale sports, entertainment, MICE and cultural events, while establishing partnerships with international organisations and brands, including UFC.
These initiatives support the development of the “tourism +” strategy and contribute to Macau’s positioning as both a “City of Performing Arts” and a “City of Sports”.
The Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific are organised by Global Gaming Insider and judged by a panel of nearly 30 senior industry executives from across the Asia-Pacific region.
The awards recognise enterprises and individuals that have made significant contributions to the sustainable development of the industry.
