“Defend” represents the deep connection between Macau and the motherland. The Heart-Shaped Tree embodies Macau’s flourishing development and prosperity, nurtured by national support, with the hands symbolizing care and protection.

The paper butterflies represent freedom, embodying the courage and hope of chasing dreams. Pressing the red button will turn on the wind machine, setting the butterflies in motion and experiencing the joy of pursuing a dream.

Whisper of Tree︱Artists: A Plus from Macao, China
Fireflies swirling with the breeze resemble little elves in nature. The gracefulness of this dance of light and shadows brings a new dynamic to the surrounding trees and vegetation.

Artist Introduction: Established in 1996, A Plus is a leader in event planning and lighting design, with notable contributions to Macao’s festive landscapes, including the Central District’s holiday displays.
Projection Mapping
Create the Future | Artists: HITOHATA, INC. (Nagoya, Japan)
The projection mapping “Create the Future” has three chapters: “The Present,” “The Birth,” and “The Celebration.” Using the Macao Science Center’s architecture and 3D CG technology, it highlights the cultural connection between Macao and Japan while showcasing Macao’s blend of Chinese and Western cultures. Symbols like the lotus, dragon, fireworks, and lanterns envision Macao’s bright future. The event also celebrates Macao as the Culture City of East Asia 2025, inspiring the audience to imagine “Creating the Future.”
