Our third stop takes us to Nam Van, where under the theme “Interlude of the Ocean”, artists create a symbiosis between marine life and light, raising public awareness of its beauty and the need for preservation.

Hug Hug Humpback Whale︱Artists: Dio & Elephant, Sustainability Art Hub (SAH) (Hong Kong, China)
Two humpback whales emerge from an illuminated seascape – one breaching the surface while another approaches the shore. The shore-side whale features touch-sensitive light device. Visitors are invited to gently touch the whale to transform its luminescence.

Artist Introduction: Dio & Elephant are pioneers in sustainable art. Dio, a Guinness World Record holder, excels in sculpting with recycled materials, while Elephant merges traditional Chinese art with contemporary art and technology. Together, they have launched numerous innovative projects and international art initiatives since 2018.

Leaping Whale of Starlight︱Artists: A Plus from Macao, China
Illuminated whales emerge from Nam Van Lake’s surface in graceful arcs, their light-crafted forms creating a dance of marine movement across the water.
