EU ministers discuss support for Kiev ahead of last summit of year

The heads of diplomacy of the European Union (EU) will discuss this Monday, in Brussels, support for Ukraine to face Russian military aggression, on the eve of the last summit of leaders of the year, which takes place on Thursday.

Two days after the Council of the European Union reached an agreement to unblock the macro-financial aid package for Ukraine for 2023, in the amount of 18 billion euros, bypassing the blockade of Hungary, the ministers of Foreign Affairs will focus on not in the material support that the community bloc can continue to provide to Kiev, militarily but also to help the Ukrainians and to face the winter between power cuts caused by Russian attacks on critical infrastructures.

As has become customary over the last few months, the head of Ukrainian diplomacy, Dmytro Kuleba, will participate in the meeting via videoconference, to report on 27 of the latest developments on the ground, as well as Ukraine’s most urgent needs at the of supports.
