Portugal’s PM stresses need to “preserve financial stability” and reduce debt

The secretary general of the Socialist Party (PS) insisted, this Monday, on the need to “preserve financial stability” of the country, considering that it would be impossible to support companies and families in 2022 with the debt that he inherited from the last social-democratic government.

“We are determined, notwithstanding all the effort we are making to support companies and families, to continue to reduce our debt,” the PS leader and prime minister pointed out.
