Macau International Fair with 200 products from Portuguese-speaking countries

The 27th edition of the Macau International Fair starts the day after tomorrow and ends next Saturday, the 22nd.

It was presented today at the Venetian, where it will take place, by Vincent U, the deputy president of the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute.

MIF will have three parallel events, with a total of 1871 stands from 1047 exhibitors, attracting 87 delegations from 18 provinces, autonomous regions and inland cities in China. The first to promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, with 389 booths.

The second show has to do with four main industries: exhibition of traditional Chinese medicine brands; exhibition of creative and cultural industries; science, innovation and cutting-edge technology week; and modern finance themed contact exchange, with meeting of innovative investment and financing projects.

And the third promotion for tourism development, conventions and exhibitions, with 181 booths from Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces, in addition to Shanghai municipality. Once again, more than 200 products from Portuguese-speaking countries will be present, with a tasting area and wine awards.

In total, more than a thousand companies exhibiting off-line, 1200 through the Internet, from seven countries and territories are expected; more than 2000 buying companies, exhibiting off-line and on-line, have been invited to the events during three days, including more than 50 conferences, forums, sessions and contact exchanges.

In parallel, the Macau Franchise Exhibition is being held. Admission is free on Friday and Saturday, and free buses are available.
