More than 160 Timorese workers and students from various countries, but mostly from South Korea, repatriated to East Timor, arrive today in Dili on a flight chartered by the Timorese Government.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MNEC) reported that the group mainly includes workers who were in South Korea and ended their contracts, but also Timorese students who were in Malaysia, the United Kingdom and Indonesia.
On board the plane are also the tracks of two Timorese who died, one in South Korea and the other in the United Kingdom, the MNEC source told Lusa.
