The short film Hair Love, released in 2019, was awarded the Oscar 2020 for best animated short film, in March 2020. Now, this story about hair and curls will come to life in an HBO series.
Now, the production will become a series, in a production of HBO Max, with the name Young Love. The project does not yet have a definite release date, but it has been confirmed that it will have twelve episodes on the life of the Young family.
