A member of the MPLA’s Political Bureau was positive in a Covid-19 test, Albino Carlos, the information secretary for party formation, told Angop.
According to the source, the infected citizen, whose identity is withheld for privacy reasons, did a “random” test, when he intended, for reasons of “force majeure”, to move from Luanda to a province.
Albino Carlos added that, for a public health imperative and what is set out in the rules of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Angolan health authorities will test all members of the MPLA BP, who participated in the last party formation meeting.
