Pre-sales for Céline Dion’s 10 upcoming concerts in Paris this fall have attracted nine million registrations, according to local media reports.
The pre-sale systems, which allow registered fans to purchase tickets via codes distributed through a lottery, opened immediately after the Canadian star announced her return in an Instagram video last week. Céline Dion suffers from a rare and incurable neurological disorder.
By last Thursday, the registration deadline, nine million people had signed up, according to Le Parisien. The organizers have not released official figures. Those who do not receive a code can participate in the general sale starting on May 10.
The 10 concerts will take place between September 12 and October 14 at La Défense Arena, which can hold nearly 40,000 spectators.

“I’m so happy, I’m ready to do this. I feel good, strong, and emotional. Of course, a little nervous, but above all, grateful to all of you. I can’t wait to see you again,” Dion shared on Monday, her 58th birthday, confirming her stage return.
Her last public performance was at the opening of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where she sang “Hymne à l’amour” by Edith Piaf from the Eiffel Tower.
Her return has been highly anticipated, after she had to cancel her 2023 Courage World Tour due to severe complications from Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological disorder affecting muscle control, including her vocal cords.
Details of her health challenges were revealed in the 2024 documentary I Am Céline Dion. SPS is extremely rare and causes progressive stiffness in the hands and feet, making movement increasingly difficult.
Dion’s last major solo concert was in spring 2020 in New York, part of a tour suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and later canceled due to her health condition.
