The May 30 Fight Night will be staged as part of UFC’s multi-year strategic agreement with Galaxy Macau Integrated Resort, which will bring three events to the venue starting this year. The deal also includes the opening rounds of Road to UFC Season 5, the Asia-Pacific tournament offering rising prospects a direct pathway to the promotion.
UFC’s comeback continues a history of high-profile cards in Macau. The city first hosted the promotion in 2012 with UFC on Fuel TV 6, headlined by Rich Franklin and Cung Le. Two further events followed in 2014, including Michael Bisping’s victory over Le, before the promotion returned in 2024 with Yan’s win over Figueiredo.
“Asia remains a vital region for the evolution of global sports and entertainment,” said Kevin Chang, UFC’s Senior Vice President and Head of Asia. “Returning to Macao in 2026 builds on our successful 2024 event and strengthens our commitment to fans in the region.”
The agreement underscores UFC’s ambitions to expand its footprint in Asia, positioning Macao as a launchpad for future events and a growing hub for combat sports in the region.
