Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) was honored with the “Greater Bay Area Most Influential Award” at the 9th Global Greater Bay Area (GBA) Sustainable Development Economic & Trade Forum cum 2025 GBA Annual Most Influential Awards Presentation Ceremony, held recently in Hong Kong.
The recognition marks GEG as the first integrated tourism and leisure enterprise to receive this accolade. Representing the company, Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG, attended the ceremony and accepted the award.
In his speech, Mr. Cheng highlighted GEG’s enduring commitment to its philosophy of “World Class, Asian Heart”, striving for excellence in every endeavor.
He noted that Galaxy Macau, GEG’s flagship integrated resort, has earned multiple international and regional awards.
Together with the Galaxy International Convention Center (GICC) and Galaxy Arena, GEG has hosted a wide range of entertainment, sports, cultural, and artistic events, further strengthening Macau’s reputation as a global destination.
Mr. Cheng emphasized that GEG remains dedicated to supporting the sustainable and high-quality development of the GBA, while continuing to innovate in the integrated tourism and leisure industry.
As a patriotic Chinese enterprise rooted in Macau, GEG has contributed to the diversified growth of the region through its world-class hospitality offerings.
The Galaxy Macau integrated resort features nine international hotel brands, more than 120 dining options, the Grand Resort Deck – one of the world’s leading skytop water oases – a luxury shopping promenade, and multiple five-star spa facilities.
The launch of Phase 3, which includes the GICC, Galaxy Arena, Raffles at Galaxy Macau, and Andaz Macau, along with Capella at Galaxy Macau, now in trial operations, further enhances GEG’s contribution to Macau’s “1+4” diversification strategy.
This development reinforces the city’s positioning as a World Center of Tourism and Leisure.
In alignment with its guiding principle, “What is taken from the community is to be used for the good of the community,” GEG also continues to drive sustainable community initiatives, fostering positive social and environmental impact across the GBA.
