Echo Chan becomes European Chamber president

Echo Chan has been elected president of the Board of Directors of the Macau European Chamber of Commerce (MECC) for a two-year term at a general meeting held on Wednesday, succeeding Rui Pedro Cunha.

Chan, a former executive director of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), was nominated by the Irish Chamber of Commerce of Macau.

The MECC’s chamber members include the British Chamber of Commerce in Macao (BritCham Macao), the France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC), the Macau Delegation of the Portugal–China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC), the Romanian Chamber of Commerce in Macau, the German Chamber of Commerce in Macau, the Irish Chamber of Commerce of Macau, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macau, and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong & Macau.
