Sands China has long regarded its team members as the cornerstone of its development.
Guided by a people-centred commitment to nurturing talent in Macao, the company has continued to introduce targeted talent cultivation and welfare policies aimed at creating a workplace with strong prospects and a sense of belonging.
Through long-service ceremonies held in May, Sands China honoured more than 4,000 team members who are celebrating their 10-year, 15-year or 20-year service anniversaries this year.
The company presented trophies, certificates, celebratory set meals and other gifts in recognition of their professional service and dedication over the years.
This year, around 1,300 team members are reaching 20 years of service, while around 1,700 and nearly 1,100 team members are marking 15-year and 10-year milestones respectively.

In 2026, nearly 15,000 team members will have served Sands China for 10 years or more, representing over 50 percent of the company’s current workforce.

From an initial workforce of 4,600 team members, we have now developed into a family of over 28,000 staff, with more than half having served for 10 years or more. “All the achievements the company has made are attributed to the unwavering dedication of our team members. As Macao’s largest private employer, Sands China has continued to develop human resources policies focused on attracting, developing and retaining talent.
The percentage of local residents in management roles has increased from 20 percent in 2004 to around 91 percent today.
The company has also received the “Top Employer” certification for two consecutive years from the Top Employer Institute.
Sands China is the first integrated resort operator in the Asia Pacific region and the first company in Macao’s tourism and service industry to earn this international recognition, reflecting a human resources strategy aligned with high global standards.
