The recognition spans various areas, including occupational safety and health (OSH), digitalisation, and talent strategy—underscoring the company’s mission to create a supportive and forward-thinking work environment.
Over the past 20 years, Sands China has played a pivotal role in shaping Macao’s economy by offering diverse job opportunities across MICE, hospitality, retail, catering, and entertainment sectors.
Its human resource strategies are aligned with the Macao SAR government’s “1+4” economic diversification policy, combining innovative training programmes with practical career growth.
A key achievement was the Excellence in Practice (EIP) Award from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in the United States.

Team members are recognised in the “Be a Londoner Guide” programme as Londoner Ambassadors. Sands China endeavours to foster all round talent development in line with the ‘1+4’ diversification strategy, and was honoured with multiple awards along the way, including by the Association for Talent Development (ATD) for the innovative “Be a Londoner Guide” programme.
The award recognised Sands China’s “Be a Londoner Guide” initiative, which has trained over 13,000 team members to deliver exceptional guest service at The Londoner Macao through gamified and immersive learning experiences.
The company also earned five distinctions at the 4th National Human Resources Innovation Competition in China:

Additionally, in the 2024 Catering Industry OSH Incentive Programme, organised by the Macao Labour Affairs Bureau and partners, ten Sands China restaurants and 21 team members were awarded for outstanding OSH performance.
The company had the most participating restaurants among all integrated resort operators.
Further recognitions included awards from the Employee Experience Awards in Hong Kong and Singapore, OneFLAG Awards, HRoot Best Employer, and accolades for branding and workplace quality in Mainland China.
