During the summer holidays, GEG launched the “GEG Family Cares Summer Program”, inviting team members and their children to visit Galaxy Macau integrated resort and enjoy quality family time in a fun and engaging environment.
The program featured a thoughtfully curated lineup of parent-child activities, including a hands-on cinema career experience at Galaxy Cinemas at Galaxy Macau, dessert-making and arts-and-crafts workshops, as well as opportunities to explore the integrated resort’s family-friendly recreational facilities.

Through these activities, participating families gained a deeper understanding of GEG’s diverse integrated resort offerings and dynamic work environment, while creating memorable summer experiences together.
The program received an enthusiastic response, attracting approximately 300 team members and their children.
Hands-On Cinema Career Experience
Kids take on cinema team member roles—handling ticketing, F&B service, and ushering—at Galaxy Cinemas during the “Become a Movie Theater Star for a Day” experience.
As part of the program, the “Become a Movie Theater Star for a Day” experience was held at Galaxy Cinemas at Galaxy Macau. Guided by cinema team members and accompanied by their parents, children put on team member badges and experienced a day in the life of a cinema team member, taking part in ticketing, food and beverage service, and ushering duties while gaining firsthand insight into cinema operations.
Fully immersed in the experience, they interacted with both their parents and cinema team members, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. Following the role-play activity, GEG arranged for participating families to enjoy a movie together, allowing children to experience the cinema from both operational and guest perspectives.
Creative Culinary Workshops
Under the guidance of professional pastry chefs from Galaxy Macau’s Central Kitchen, participants of the “Create Your Own Chocolate Masterpiece” workshop unleashed their creativity to craft their own unique chocolate creations.
In addition, the “Create Your Own Chocolate Masterpiece” workshop at Hotel Okura Macau offered families a fun and interactive experience. Under the guidance of professional pastry chefs from Galaxy Macau’s Central Kitchen, participants unleashed their creativity to craft their own unique chocolate creations.
Beyond enjoying quality family time, families also gained a deeper appreciation of the skill and craftsmanship behind the integrated resort’s culinary and pastry operations.
Play, Explore & Bond Together
GEG also hosted the “Play, Explore & Bond Together” activity, inviting team members and their families to visit the Galaxy Kidz Edutainment Center.

Through a variety of engaging experiences, children were encouraged to discover the joy of learning through play.
As part of the activity, parents and children also participated in hands-on arts and crafts workshops, creating Macau-inspired portuguese-style tile coasters and hand-painted non-woven bags. From brainstorming design concepts to bringing their creations to life, families shared meaningful moments together while exploring their creativity side by side.
The workshop also offered participants an opportunity to learn about Macau’s unique blend of Chinese and Western cultures through locally inspired artistic elements.
Comprehensive Employee Well-Being Initiatives
GEG places great importance on the physical and mental well-being of its team members, implementing a wide range of initiatives to enrich their lives beyond the workplace. In addition to regularly organizing diverse recreational, cultural, and sports activities through its Staff Social Club, GEG continues to roll out a variety of parent-child programs that support family well-being and strengthen family bonds.
These include the “Nurturing Future Together” initiative, launched in collaboration with the Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, which features parenting seminars designed to help team members strengthen their parenting knowledge and skills. Through the “GEG Parent-Child Volunteering Experience Scheme”, team members and their children are also encouraged to participate in community service activities together.
To further support team members and their families, GEG partners with the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office to deliver the “Employee Assistance Program”, under which family and parenting-themed activities are regularly organized to help team members maintain a healthy work-life balance.
