Seoul says North Korean troops have been sent to the frontline in Ukraine

Military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang poses a "significant threat to the security of the international community and could pose a serious risk to the security" of South Korea, the South Korean president said.

South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) said Tuesday it had indications that some North Korean troops may already be moving to fight in Ukraine.

“Troop transfers between North Korea and Russia are ongoing and we are studying the possibility of some personnel, including military generals, moving to the front,” the NIS said.
