In a Twitter post, Musk claimed that the WhatsApp messaging app is unreliable, for listening to its users, calling into question the company’s privacy policies. Tesla’s leader reacted to an error in the messaging application, which activates the cell phone microphone even without it being used.
The error was discovered by a Twitter employee and, according to the GadgetsNow website, it has already been recognized by the company that belongs to the Zuckerberg universe.
The criticism comes in the same week that Musk announced that Twitter will soon have new features, the possibility of making video and audio calls. A strategy that aims to compete with the free tools already offered by Messenger, Telegram, WhatsApp itself, among others.
