Russian ‘drones’ hit port of Odessa

Russian ‘drones’ today hit the Ukrainian port of Odessa on the Black Sea and caused damage, local authorities said.

“The enemy has just hit Odessa and the Odessa area with UAV [unmanned aerial devices] attacks,” the local administration said on Facebook.

“There is damage”, he said, without adding any details.

Odessa was a vacation destination for many Ukrainians and Russians before the start of the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Since the start of the conflict, Odessa has been bombed several times by Russian forces.

In January, UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) included the historic center of Odessa on the list of world heritage in danger.
