The accident took place near Voorschoten after the vehicle collided with construction equipment on the road, emergency services explained.
Several injured were taken to the hospital and others were treated on the spot. “Experts are on site to ensure the stability of the convoy”, they stressed.
In the double-decker train, which circulated between Amsterdam and The Hague, followed about 60 people. “One died and at least 30 were injured,” they said.
