Boca Juniors coach accused of sexual abuse

Jorge Martínez, former Boca Juniors and Argentina national team player, was denounced for sexual abuse.

Currently at the head of the women’s team of the Xeneize club, Jorge Martínez was reported to the police by Florencia Marco, press officer of Boca Juniors.

She found out about the complaint hours after Boca beat River Plate (3-0) and it was cataloged by the police as “simple sexual abuse”. Florencia Marco declared that she suffered “harassment and intimidation” several times by Martínez, who allegedly touched her improperly.

The case dates back to last year, but the complaint was filed in February of this year.
