The Daily Mail advanced on Tuesday that, in addition to Liverpool and Manchester United, Chelsea are also interested in signing Enzo Fernández, World champion for Argentina and whose departure from Benfica in January seems increasingly likely.
According to O JOGO, the red midfielder is being the target of surveys and contacts from Liverpool and Manchester United, but the British add that the blues intend to lower the average age of the squad with the departure of Jorginho – 31 years old – and the entry of Enzo, who turns 22 in January.
With Newcastle linked to the Italian midfielder, whose contract expires at the end of this season, it remains to be seen if the Londoners plan to move on to Enzo Fernández in the winter market or if they will wait until next summer.
