7% of the world diamond business comes from Angolan production

The indicators were presented in a video conference on diamonds promoted by the Angolan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Dubai Multi Commodities Center

Angola contributed to the world market in 2019 with 7 percent in carats of diamonds and 9 in values, which positioned the country in the World classification in the first 5 related nations in production and 4 in values. The data were presented in a diamond webinar held last weekend, promoted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola and Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC).

Mankenda Ambroise, who represented at the event, the Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources, Diamantino Azevedo, welcomes the initiative of the Chamber to promote the theme, claiming that this is the right time for interested entrepreneurs to come and invest in the Angolan diamond industry.
