Angola produces gold bars again

Angop

Angola produces gold again, with the installation of the Chipindo gold mine, in Huíla province, with an average production capacity of 4.5 kg / month of gold concentrate.

According to a note from the mining sector that Angop had access to, production reaches approximately four kilograms of gold (dore bars) after initial refining. The unit, which has been operating for almost two years, employs 55 people, mostly from the provinces of Huila, Huambo, Benguela and Luanda.

Lafech Mining, a partnership with Ferrangol, is the first Angolan company responsible for the extraction of gold ore and the recovery of this strategic mineral.

As operator, Deimang, SA was contracted under a production sharing contract with Lafefech Mining Resources.
