Less than 10 days before the election that will decide the future of the United States, the Portuguese-American community in the central valley of California highlights the pandemic and the economy as two of the biggest concerns.
“The priority at this point is to get things moving again, the economy is working,” Rosie Nunes told Lusa.
“We are seeing many restaurants and small businesses shutting down because of the virus. I have five children who are all at home taking classes via Zoom and it is horrible for their mental state ”, he explained.
