Ho Iat Seng’s visit to Beijing ended, with the economy being a hot topic on the last day
With two meetings, one with the director of the National Development and Reform Commission, He Lifeng, Ho Iat Seng acknowledged that the “epidemic proved to be a disadvantage for Macau to have only one industry”, referring to the game, stressing that, therefore, , “adequate diversification of the economy will be a firm decision and an objective outlined by the MSAR government”, according to a note from the media.
Another topic of the meeting was Macau-Guangdong cooperation, on the island of Hengqin.
