Scientists create algorithm to identify Covid-19 from the sound of coughing

Researchers from several countries have created an algorithm that claims to be able to identify whether a person has covid-19 from the sound of their cough.

Scientists from Mexico, the United States, Spain and Italy, led by a team from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), are developing a database with thousands of coughing sounds from people of all ages, with and without covid-19.
