In total, 100 positions are available for Macau residents aged between 18 and 55 who wish to collaborate on actions within the scope of civil protection.
According to the entity, the volunteers will mainly support awareness and civic education work, as well as population assistance activities and recovery operations following incidents.

The registration period runs until March 31, and interested parties can apply through two methods. The first is in person, by visiting the Department of Resource Management at the SPU, located on Avenida da Praia Grande in the China Plaza building, to submit the required information.
The second option is online, through the official website of the SPU or through the mobile application “Civil Protection Volunteers”.
If the number of applications exceeds the available positions, selection will be made by lottery. Admitted candidates will still have to attend a training course, with the status of volunteer being granted only after passing the respective assessment tests.
