The Portuguese Football Federation modified, this Wednesday (1st), the official symbol of the entity. The old crest underwent a modernization that left it ’rounded’ and simpler.
Although the new image has been implemented institutionally, no modifications to the football team’s crest, nor to the official uniform for the 2026 World Cup, had updates announced.

The trend is that the unprecedented logo will be used only on online and communication platforms, in order to project an image better adapted to digital channels.
Portugal takes the field this Thursday (2nd), at 8:00 PM (Brasília time), against Croatia. The duel valid for the round of 32 of the biggest football tournament on the planet will be held at BMO Field, in Toronto, Canada.
