Newly released bodycam footage shows Tiger Woods appearing disoriented and surprised as he was arrested following a rollover crash in Florida.
According to the report, the footage captures the moment a deputy informs Woods he is being taken into custody, telling him: “I do believe your normal faculties are impaired.” In response, Woods appears stunned, asking, “I’m being arrested?”
The incident happened after Woods’ vehicle struck another car and flipped over on a residential road. He told officers he had briefly looked down at his phone before the crash, saying he was distracted moments before impact, according to Western Mass News.
Officers at the scene noted visible signs of impairment. The footage shows Woods speaking slowly and struggling to fully respond to questions, while deputies described his condition as impaired under “an unknown substance.”

During a search, authorities found prescription medication in his possession. Woods identified one of the pills as “Norco,” a painkiller commonly used to treat severe pain. He told officers he had taken “a few” medications earlier in the day, while also insisting he had not consumed alcohol.
Following the arrest, Woods entered a not guilty plea to the DUI charge. In a statement, he said he would step away from public life “to seek treatment and focus on my health,” acknowledging the seriousness of the situation.
The footage adds new detail to the high-profile case, showing both the confusion at the scene and the role prescription medication may have played in the incident.
