Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of New York City once again as part of the “No Kings” protest movement, voicing opposition to the government of Donald Trump and accusing him of undermining democracy in the United States.
The protest began near Central Park and stretched to Times Square, drawing large crowds calling for Trump’s removal from office. Demonstrators carried signs criticizing his leadership, with messages ranging from calls for impeachment to concerns over immigration policies and the rule of law.
Some protesters argued that Trump’s policies on foreign conflicts, the economy, and governance threaten core American values, while others expressed alarm at voter intimidation and institutional erosion.
The demonstrations are part of a broader wave of more than 3,000 protests nationwide, organized to unite various grievances against the federal government rather than focus on a single issue.

Criticism also extended to international affairs. Some protesters accused Benjamin Netanyahu of influencing U.S. policy in the Middle East, particularly regarding the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
The “No Kings” movement, backed by a coalition of activist groups, has grown significantly since its first protest. Organizers claim that previous demonstrations drew millions across all 50 states, and they expect this latest mobilization to become one of the largest nonviolent protest days in U.S. history.
Despite the scale of the protests, the White House downplayed their significance. Spokesperson Abigail Jackson stated that only journalists covering the events were paying attention to them.
