According to data from the authorities in Zhuhai, the number of vehicles crossing the Hengqin border last month exceeded 370,000, marking a growth of nearly 50% compared to January 2025.
January also saw two daily records set. On January 1, authorities recorded 147,000 entries and exits, a new high, as well as on the last day of the month, January 31, when the number of vehicles at the border reached 13,000.
