They closed over 15,000 cases, marking a 22% rise, and transferred 3,955 individuals to judicial authorities, an increase of 19%. The authorities noted that serious violent crime remained at a low incidence rate in 2025, contributing to overall social stability and continued improvements in law enforcement efficiency.
Regarding national security, the Judiciary Police expressed full support for the Special Administrative Region’s efforts to strengthen its national security system and risk prevention mechanisms. Under the leadership of the National Security Committee, they successfully ensured the smooth completion of the 8th Legislative Assembly elections.
The authorities indicated that they will continue to enhance law enforcement capabilities, rigorously guard against external interference, combat anti-China elements and collusion with foreign forces, as well as deepen national security awareness and education to strengthen the community’s defense.
