From June 9 to July 3, 2025, Sands China Ltd. ran its fifth Happy 360 Month, a wellness initiative designed to enhance team members’ physical and mental well-being.
Since its 2021 launch, the programme has engaged over 38,000 participants across more than 200 activities, reinforcing the company’s commitment to a happy, thriving workplace.
5S Model for Emotions
Happy 360 Month employs the 5S Model—SelfQuestioning, Stopping Negative Thinking, Self PepTalk, Shuffling Your Thoughts, and Staying Attentive to Body Responses through:
- Health seminars and classes on stress management and positive thinking
- Exercise sessions promoting physical fitness
- Mental health consultations and happiness index assessments
- Interactive game booths to foster team bonding
These activities provide techniques for emotional regulation, stress relief, and strengthening workplace cohesion.
Roadshows, Workshops & Closing Ceremony
Across heart-of-house areas at The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao, The Londoner Macao, and Sands Macao, the initiative featured 16 roadshows and six thematic workshops and lectures.
The July 3 closing ceremony at The Venetian Macao’s heartofhouse area was attended by key dignitaries, including Chan Un Tong of the Labour Affairs Bureau and Lam Pui Seong of the Social Welfare Bureau, underlining cross-sector support for employee well-being.
Extended Impact & Partnerships
Through collaborations with government bodies, social welfare organisations, and mental health professionals, Sands China ensures a comprehensive wellness network. Dr. Wilfred Wong, Executive Vice Chairman of Sands China Ltd., noted that supporting the well-being of 27,000 team members—and indirectly nearly 100,000 family members—fosters societal stability by promoting harmonious family life and psychological resilience.
