Macau sees over 300,000 tourists during Chung Yeung extended weekend

A total of 301,705 visitor arrivals were recorded during the three-day Chung Yeung festival extended weekend, spanning from Friday to Monday, official figures indicate.

Approximately one-third of these visitors (102,791) entered through the Border Gate, while 97,670 arrived via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge.

With a daily average of 100,568 visitors per day during the Chung Yeung festival, the city’s tourism momentum continues to thrive following the eight-day National Day Golden Week, which witnessed 932,365 visitor arrivals.
