The recent announcement by the Macau Jockey Club (MJC) has confirmed the near-term outlook for a long-established industry in Macau, which was on the verge of experiencing a fate akin to that of Singapore’s.
The upcoming horse racing season for 2023/2024 is set to commence on 29 September. Additionally, the club has announced its intention to broadcast races held in Hong Kong and Malaysia.
A review of the racing calendar by Macau News Agency has unveiled that there is a race scheduled almost every week, with occasional instances of two races per week.
