Mask wearing requirements to be adjusted from February 27

Under general situations, one is not required to wear a mask when staying in outdoor places; however, masks are still required to enter medical institutions, elderly and rehabilitation homes, or on board public transport other than taxis (including both drivers and passengers). 

In response to the adjustment of the measures and issuance of guidelines, the Education and Youth Development Bureau announced that from 27 February onwards, under normal circumstances, teachers and students of non-tertiary schools are not required to wear face masks during classes or activities (including participation in school competitions and camps), while tertiary institutions are required to follow the same practice.
