Former Manchester United player says ‘Ronaldo was obsessed with the past’

“Cristiano [Ronaldo] was obsessed with the past. He was much more interested in himself than in the team. Manchester United’s results improved with his departure and that means a lot”, began by telling Garth Crooks, former player of the “red devils”, to BBC Sport.

The former footballer also valued forward Marcus Rashford, who is in great shape this season, believing that the Englishman benefited from not being in CR7’s shadow.
