The 39-year-old Spanish world shooting champion Jorge Ballesteros has been found dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
The Royal Spanish Federation of Olympic Shooting (RFEDETO) has already confirmed the death of the sportsman, who in his portfolio has one world title, three European titles, six “Extreme Europe Open” and 17 Spanish championships.
“(…) RFEDETO expresses its desolation at the terrible loss of a great shooter and an exceptional human being, a gentleman in sport and in life,” wrote the Royal Spanish Olympic Shooting Federation.
