Former Italian footballer Alessandro Del Piero said that Juventus need to “face the problems and try to find a solution”, in order to “return stronger” to the Champions League, from which they were eliminated in Group H.
In an interview with the Lusa agency, during the Web Summit, in Lisbon, the 47-year-old former striker discussed the elimination of the Italian team, in which he played practically throughout his career, from 1993/94 to 2011/12, in the of groups, in a group led by Benfica.
“It’s the sport. Sometimes it happens. You have to face the problems and what is wrong, try to find a solution and move on. There is no other way, you cannot go back and repeat the games with Paris Saint-Germain, Maccabi Haifa or Benfica. It’s about moving on as best they can. They have history, good players, coach too. Therefore, they have everything to come back stronger”, said Del Piero.
