Manuel Neuer revealed, this Wednesday, in an Instagram post, that he had a skin cancer, having been operated on on three occasions.
The goalkeeper of Bayern and the German national team made the revelation in a publication in which he announces the launch of a line of skin care and protection products – vegan, microplastic-free and fragrance-free -, called “Newkee”, together with tennis player Angelique Kerber.
“We both have a very personal history when it comes to skin conditions. Angelique has hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, while in my case it is a skin cancer that I have had to operate on three times”, began by saying the guardian.
“It is for this reason that we are especially careful not to compromise when it comes to sun protection: because I always train outdoors and I also like to spend my free time in nature,” he concluded.
