Chinese international trade in goods and services up 10% in September

China’s international trade in goods and services exports and imports reached 4.2833 trillion yuan ($615.2 billion) in September, up 10% year-on-year, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange said on Friday.

Of the total, exports of goods amounted to 2.1291 trillion yuan and imports amounted to 1.6454 trillion yuan, resulting in a surplus of 483.7 billion yuan.

Services exports were 213.1 billion yuan and imports were 295.7 billion yuan, resulting in a deficit of 82.6 billion yuan.

Among the main items, the export and import of transportation services amounted to 185.4 billion yuan; other business services 89 billion yuan; travel services, 81.3 billion yuan; and telecommunications, computers and information services, 51.7 billion yuan.
