Cristiano Ronaldo is already training with the Manchester United shirt, but this Wednesday he was left out of coach Erik ten Hag’s options for the team’s preparation meeting against Wrexham.
The red devils won the game 4-1, a match that was played behind closed doors at United’s training center, with CR7 on the bench watching his colleagues train.
But this was a training session that took place after Ronaldo had asked the board to leave the club. According to the Daily Mail, agent Jorge Mendes presented, on behalf of CR7, a proposal for the rescission of the contract, freeing the striker to sign at zero cost with a team that plays in the Champions League this season.
Manchester United’s management did not accept this request, at a time when some clubs are beginning to close the door on Cristiano Ronaldo.
