According to TVI and CNN Portugal, in Saudi Arabia it is planned to spend a total of 300 million euros for Cristiano Ronaldo to play for two seasons in the local championship.
Without ever specifying the club that could receive the Portuguese star, the two media put forward some details of a possible deal.
300 million euros are destined to convince Manchester United to release Ronaldo, with whom he has one more year of contract. For the deal, 20 million euros would be paid in intermediation, with the remaining 250 million euros reserved for the salaries of the Portuguese striker, at a rate of 125 million per year.
Although tempting, it is not believable that Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, would accept a move to Saudi football. The goalscorer still thinks about the Champions League and a departure from United, which will play in the Europa League next season, will always take this factor into consideration.
