United Nations Program will cooperate with Angola in fighting corruption

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) will cooperate with the State General Inspectorate (IGAE) to prevent and combat corruption in the country
Yesterday, the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding to fight corruption, a Project for the Prevention of Risks of Corruption, Institutional Strengthening and the Annual Work Plan for 2020. The inspector general of State Administration, Sebastião Gunza, said that the agreement will govern the relationship between IGAE and UNDP, based essentially on the effort to fight corruption, with which the Government is committed.
Sebastião Gunza indicated that the institutions intend to work towards the elaboration of legal instruments aimed at assessing risks against corruption and foreseeing measures to be implemented by all public institutions that deal with public resources, as well as the creation of permanent monitoring instruments. evidence or even acts of corruption.
